About Us.

Ntra. Sra. Del Rosario school, is a preprimary, primary and secondary educative institution that is part of a huge catholical educative foundation (Fundacion Educativa Francisco Coll). It is found in Albacete, a medium sized city in the south eastern of Spain (Castilla La Mancha), population: 170.000 people.

In our school, there are students from 3 to 16 years old and 2 groups for each level. We are around 650 pupils and 44 teachers, 2 principals (1 for preprimary and primary and 1 for secondary) and a general headmistress that represents the foundation in the school.

Our pupils' nationalities are mainly spanish but in the last years we have had some more new students from south america. We are really interested on increasing the level of english of our students, developing their capacities inside the european frame, helping them to raise as open minded boys and girls.

Apart of this, we are also involved in a bilingual project which is about the use of english language in a positive environment; some of our teachers have taken part in some other learning programs inside the Comenius project, and our school has coordinated 2 KA2 ERASMUS+ Projects. Even more,

nowadays, we are also coordinating another KA2 ERASMUS+ Project, focused in the new views of social science and CLIL teaching.

We consider this KA1 Project as a really important help to develop new teaching strategies, focused in transversal contents in our school, as well as, in our associated schools.
